Volume 12-03
Back in my home office again here for the month of March with our baby
boy on my lap crying as I begin this message. I'll be home for the
better part of the next three months, and then it's off to the races
for the summer!
But before we get there, how about a quick look at some of the things
I'm working on this month: First, come see us as usual the first
Wednesday of the month at Pulaski Inn in Cudahy from 1:00-4:00 PM.
Never been there? Then come dance on one of the nicest and most
spacious wooden dance floors in the Milwaukee area! Nice people, good
music, and the charm of the Pulaski Inn itself make for a great
afternoon. Hope to see you there! Then join us St. Patrick's Day
Weekend in Madison at the Essen Haus (I guess they're sticking to
their German roots this year) and also at the Capitol Theater for Duck
Soup - a great show put on just a few times a year at one of Madison's
most historic venues. We'll have two ten minutes spots during the 2:00
and 7:00 PM shows. We share the stage with a number of other acts for
the first hour or so of the program, and then it's time for a silent
film accompanied by a live organist. Cool stuff worth checking out!
In other news, I hope to get working on a new CD for the Mike
Schneider Band later this month. I can't say when it will be released
just yet, but I will certainly keep you posted on my progress on
Facebook. I'm also going to have my
first CD, The Pursuit of Polka's Lost Frontier, available again
shortly on the
Music page at
www.mikeschneiderband.com. If you've
got the rest, then you'll want to take a look at this one from 1998 to
complete your collection. I expect to have those available for sale
toward the end of the month. Also be on the lookout for a few new
YouTube videos from our RFD-TV taping last year. Stay tuned for all
the good stuff coming your way soon!
Looking ahead, I continue to receive bookings for the summer months,
and have just solidified commitments at Summerfest for Pint Size
Polkas and also St. Helen Parish Festival for the Mike Schneider Band.
As always, please visit the
Events page here and the
Schedule page at

As always, be sure to join our growing list of fans on Facebook

Until next month, have a very happy St. Patrick's Day!
